a few updates

for those still checking in on schnooka baby - we are still up and running and really should now be called Schnooka "Babies" as we have added another to our family this year.  Kathryn (Kate) Doyle Fuquay joined us on January 16th and is such a joy.  All of a sudden I am having so much more fun finding great fabrics for girls - i wonder why?!?

i also wanted to give a fabric update because a few of my favorites and yours are dropping off the menu.  unfortunately, the green and cream jungle animal print is no longer available.  i have been unable to find it at my store or online - such a bummer!  and the blue and pink nursery rhyme prints are in there final days with limited availability right now.  i will continue to sell them until i run out - so get them now if you like that print!

another great print that will be a limited edition is the baby circus print.  only 2 more available!

it's spring and babies are in the air - get your schnooka baby gifts now!

A new bright neutral

I hadn't paired these two together until now and I love it.  With the blue and pink dots this makes a great gift for all your friends who are holding out to find out if it's a boy or girl!  I don't know if I could do it!

New Summer Girl Cloths

This pair went to sweet baby Kolby Chapin Lewis recently and mom says it's one of her favorites!
What a bright pair for these summer days.

Burp Cloths for Breast Cancer

Schnooka Baby is on a mission, and we would love you to join us.

In March, a great friend, Cara Mathis, was diagnosed with the unthinkable at age 30, breast cancer.  She is taking on this fight with amazing courage and faith, and I am inspired by her attitude and spirit.  Feeling so far away but wanting to do something meaningful, Schnooka Baby is joining Cara in her experience and raising money for Susan G Koman for the Cure.

Starting today, 25% of all sales from Schnooka Baby burp cloths will go to support Susan G Koman, the "global leader of the breast cancer movement."  Komen is the "world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists . . . working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures."

I hope that you will take this opportunity to make a difference - for Cara and for the over 190,000 women who will receive this diagnosis this year.

My favorite pair so far

Maybe it's the colors and the contrast of the two patterns, but this set makes me the happiest to make!  A bit modern, a bit traditional - could be for a boy or a girl - i love it!

Surprise

Love this duo for the friend who is waiting to know if it's a boy or girl!  I made these for my friend Lacye in December - it's a girl!  We love you baby Grace!

More Pink & Brown

A modern floral that goes great with the brown polks dots or a simple pink cloth (not posted yet, but oh so cute!)
