My favorite pair so far

Maybe it's the colors and the contrast of the two patterns, but this set makes me the happiest to make!  A bit modern, a bit traditional - could be for a boy or a girl - i love it!

Surprise

Love this duo for the friend who is waiting to know if it's a boy or girl!  I made these for my friend Lacye in December - it's a girl!  We love you baby Grace!

More Pink & Brown

A modern floral that goes great with the brown polks dots or a simple pink cloth (not posted yet, but oh so cute!)

Pink & Brown

So many moms are going Pink & Brown in the nursery these days.

The brown dots go great with many other fabrics and can also be paired with the baby boy cloths too.

Modern Mom

I first made this pair for my friend Ashley who lives in Seattle.  She is a bright and fun young mom with a great eye for style.  I love these two together!

This one's for the girls

Sweet nursery rhyme print - just like the blue one, but PINK!
I think this one goes great paired with so many of the other girl patterns.

It's a Boy!

The most popular boy print so far - i think i've shipped it from Minnesota to Texas!

An inspiration

So here we go.  A one time idea turning into a hobby and into maybe something more.  When I was given my grandmother's sewing machine and first taught how to thread it last spring I never imagined that I might be creating a small craft business in my basement.  But the responce to these homemade burp cloths has been great, and I thought I should have a venue to show others what I'm creating.

I'm calling this "business" Schnooka Baby, a nickname we have for our little Brooks. None of this would have been created without him to create it for.

This is the first fabric that kicked off this "mompreneur" idea!

I would love to make burp cloths for you, your friends, and all the special women in your life who could use something fun and pretty while they are getting spit up on by their adorable little ones.
